Set List

Main Set

Ricochet, Part Two (4:15)
An extended piano improvisation from Edgar Froese, based on the opening of the classic track from Ricochet.
Phaedra (11:00)
The point at which the curtains open and the three-man line-up is revealed, backs to the audience facing monitors with Modular Moog emulators on-screen. The title track from Phaedra appeared to be longer than planned due to the backing tapes getting stuck.
Mysterious Semblance At The Strand Of Nightmares (6:30)
The live premiere of this Phaedra track sees the album version overlaid with more modern timbres.
Rubycon, Part One (6:30)
An only mildly tangentised version of the album track from Rubycon, launching with the bass sequence.
Force Majeure (4:30)
A similar rendition to that in 2001.
Desert Dream (4:15)
The "stately keyboard" part updated in a manner not unlike that found on Tangents.
Underwater Twilight (6:45)
Unlike the 1986 live version, this starts with the atmospheric intro of the Underwater Sunlight album version.
Warsaw In The Sun (4:15)
This is as found on the Poland album.
Midnight In Tula (4:00)
A rare appearance for this track from White Eagle and in the main set, to boot.
Silver Scale (6:00)
Similar to the recent live versions rather than the 1980/81 era version.
Logos (5:00)
A pretty faithful performance of the track as on Logos Live.
Choronzon (4:45)
Unusually in the main set, this is based not around the extended ten-minute workout this piece is used to, but is instead a faithful rendition of the shorter, four-minute album version from Exit.
Poland (5:00)
The seldom-played end part of the title track from Poland.
Song Of The Whale, Part Two: ...To Dusk (4:15)
Another piano solo, this time from Thorsten Quaeschning, from the opening of the Underwater Sunlight track.
Oriental Haze (5:15)
Featuring the first appearance of Linda Spa this evening.
Cobalt Rain (3:00)
A bridge piece which also accompanied the following track in 2001, suggesting that, in the live arena at least, the two are inseparable. (Note this only relates to the remixed version.)
Towards The Evening Star (Blue Gravity Mix) (9:00)
As the 2001 rendition.
Catwalk (9:00)
Melrose (7:00)
This featured the second appearance of Linda.
Backstreet Hero (7:00)
Quite faithful to the 220 Volt Live and Arizona Live versions.
Rising Haul In Silence (9:00)
An unremarkable performance.
Lamb With Radar Eyes (7:30)
An unremarkable performance.
Meta Morph Magic (7:30)
A standard performance of the DM 4 track.

Encores

Talking To Maddox (9:00)
Homeless (10:45)
Purple Haze (3:15)
A lively rendition with all six preformers on stage for the only time this evening. Thorsten Quaeschning moves up to the drums, Linda Spa takes his place at the keyboards and Zlatko Perica appears for the guitar part.

(All times rounded to nearest 15 seconds.)

Large parts of this section have been taken from the site What Dreams Are Made Of by kind permission of the authors John A. Burek and Mark Schaffer.

Notes

Advertisement for the London Concert

Note that the concert was announced as "First ever live performance of the classic album 'Phaedra'", though in fact it was some kind of "best of" concert, spanning from the seventies into the new millennium with only some 17 minutes material from the mentioned album.
