Notes

Further notes about this release will be added with a future update of this site.

The Eastgate Music Shop about the DVD release"The Orange Odyssey DVD is the complete live set TD performed Open Air on July 1st for the Inauguration Ceremony of the Paul Wunderlich Museum in Eberswalde near Berlin. You'll see TD full of passion, strength and lady power. The very interesting merging of music, generic lights and full laser program has made this performance to a quite outstanding experience for those who could attend the concert. Especially for TD's diehard brigade it's a meal deluxe and hardly comparable to other moving pics from orange dreamland. Did you ever hear about the effectiveness of acoustic amphetamines -- here you have it!"

The single DVD features the complete concert, including the three encores. It comes with a 4-page booklet featuring band photos, credits and the track listing. The animated DVD menu features the options to play the complete concert as well as to start from individual tracks, to view the credits and to do the audio setup (AC3 stereo or Dolby Surround 5.1). There are no bonus features.

The Orange Odyssey Zoom-O-Graphic

The front cover is based upon a Zoom-O-Graphic by Edgar Froese, titled A Great Chief Is Leaving.

Regarding the initial Eastgate DVD release, neither DVD nor the paper inserts show any order number or barcode, but the number given below is the order number the Eastgate Music Shop lists this release.

One month after its DVD release, in November 2007, the concert's audio soundtrack became available as MP3 download at the Tangerine Dream Download Shop. It has not been released on a proper CD yet.

In March 2009 the DVD was re-released with different cover design as part of an extensive digipack series (consisting of a total of more than 60 CD and DVD releases) by the Germany based Membran record label.
