Tangerine Leaves Volume 8: Dublin 1980 features another great concert of Tangerine Dream's 1980 tour -- most of the material that can be heard is still unreleased officially. Another concert of that tour has been released as Tangerine Tree Volume 26: Brussels 1980; both concerts are virtually identical but differ in the solo playing, the piano improvisations (that were unique at each concert), and one of the encores.

The track listing above shows titles according to the naming conventions used throughout this compilation and a somewhat corrected track splitting. The original track listing as printed on the cover is as follows:
