Notes

Tangerine Tree Volume 37: Sydney 1982 presents a quite popular radio broadcast which was in parts previously released on bootlegs. It was recorded during the Peter Stuyvesant Festival in Sydney on February 22nd, 1982. The recording quality is excellent in most places and an improvement compared to all existent bootlegs. The first part this concert was already officially released by TD as Sohoman (1999), but that version was heavily overdubbed.

The four concerts Tangerine Dream played during their Australia tour had a tracklist different from that in laste 1981 and late 1982, including all four compositions from the then brand new album White Eagle.

This release made the bootleg Leprous Appearance On Wednesday (a.k.a. Dreaming) obsolete, which consists of the first set from the same concert, but of much less excellent sound quality.

This album has been officially re-released as Sydney - February 22nd 1982.

With Tangerine Tree IX, released in spring 2006, this volume has been re-released, providing a much clearer sounding version of this concert.

For other concerts released as part of this fan project, please refer to the Chronological Concert Listing.

As with all releases of the Tangerine Tree project, this release is made by fans for fans. It must not be sold but is to be traded freely.
