Notes

The bootleg CD Spherical Harmonics One was first announced to be released in June 1994 but while the first copies were available in late 1994, the bulk of CDs finally appeared in late 1995. It is a one hour set taken from the New Haven concert of TD's US 'Optical Race' tour in 1988. The music material is very similar to that released on the bootleg Ardem 'O' some years ago, but the sound quality is much better. Spherical Harmonics One is obviously a soundboard recording and features neither drop-outs ot crackles nor any audience noise.

The addendum One in the CD title referred to a CD with the second half of the concert that was planned for future but was only released on CD-R. Booklet, insert and CD mention the record title but not Tangerine Dream. An additional sticker saying 'TangerineDreamLive U.S.A. 1988' was fixed to some, but not all, front pages of the booklet of the second series. The alleged record company is called 'Mirage Sound' -- thus the bootleg seems to have the same origin as Coefficient Of Aural Expansion. the alleged order number printed on the CD is CDV103.

This bootleg became obsolete due to the release of Tangerine Tree Volume 42: New Haven 1988.
