Notes

Further notes about this release will be added with a future update of this site.

The 2006 concert at the Tempodrome was the last one to feature Jerome Froese who left the band short after. According to his website, his "decision to leave TD fell about fourty minutes after the Tempodrom gig in a Taxi heading home."

The DVD comes with a 4-page booklet featuring photos of the band and the credits. Neither cover nor insert provide a track listing.

The animated menu features the options to play the complete concert as well as to start from individual tracks, to setup the audio (AC3 2.0 Stereo or AC3 5.1 Surround) and to view a bonus rehearsal featurette as well as the credits.

Please note that the DVD is indexed wrongly in one place: the track Warsaw In The Sun starts after less than 2 minutes right in the middle of The Journey. The track listing above shows the running times of these two tracks as they should be.

The Eastgate Music Shop about the DVD release"This concert video shot at one of the most exciting venues in Germany will bring back memories to the strange years of experimental sounds & music in the early seventies up to todays' world of digital perfection. Tangerine Dream now at their 40th anniversary had always a critical as well as popular recognition. Being provocative and fairly succesful at the same time had given them an alltime controversial image. They've always taken the freedom of choice to travel on as many musical roads as they wanted to -- without losing their integrity and identity. Enjoy three hours of instrumental music performed by one of the most creative bands of our time."

Regarding the initial Eastgate DVD release, neither DVD nor the paper inserts show any order number or barcode, but the number given below is the order number the Eastgate Music Shop lists this release.

In March 2009 the DVD was re-released with different cover design as part of an extensive digipack series (consisting of a total of more than 60 CD and DVD releases) by the Germany based Membran record label.
