Notes

This compilation album is part of the Ambient Highway series, which consists of four albums and this compilation, which contains only tracks that are released on one of the other albums of this series:

Besides five new tracks that have been released for the first time within this series, this compilation contains five remixed versions of compositions that had initially been released on the album Beyond The Storm (1995), and three remixed tracks from the earlier solo albums Stuntman (1979) and Pinnacles (1983) that are present on Beyond The Storm, too.

The Eastgate Music Shop about the CD release"The Ambient Highway Collection is [a] series of original pieces, re-recordings and re-mastered tracks from his previous solo albums. To some the Ambient Highway is [a] mystical journey along which we journey with only our minds, dreams, aspirations and emotions as our guides."

In January 2007 this release became available as MP3 download at the Tangerine Dream Download Shop.
